A live session for agency CEOs, COOs, and heads of client services

What it's about:

Your best clients can't make a decision right now, and you're misreading why. It isn't caution about budget. They're frozen, and they're waiting for the machine to hand them judgment it can't give. That's the paradox sitting under the paralysis.

The small calls still move, but it's the ones that matter that sit. It's a sixth meeting instead of a yes — and what's underneath is a quiet bet that the machine will eventually tell them what to do.

What we'll cover:

  • Assembly vs Judgment — what AI is actually eating, and what it's leaving on the table
  • The Real Paralysis Paradox — what your clients are actually waiting for, and why they're wrong about it
  • How to see the difference between a stuck client and a waiting client — and what each one needs from you
  • Value-based judgment in practice — the methods that move a frozen client from sixth meeting to decision

About Jack Skeels

Jack Jack Skeels is CEO of Better Company, where he works with agency and professional services leadership teams on the structural problems that make growth feel harder than it should — the chronic rework, the coordination drag, the client relationships that erode without anyone noticing. Over fifteen years and more than 220 engagements, his work has consistently produced 20–50% faster delivery, 40% less rework, and a 94+ Net Promoter Score from the leaders he's worked with.

Jack is a former RAND Corporation senior analyst and the author of Unmanaged, which won five national and international business book awards. His current work focuses on how AI is reshaping knowledge-work organizations — not just the tools, but the business models, client relationships, and organizational structures underneath them. He writes about this at jackskeels.com and in his Talking Machine series on LinkedIn.

He holds an MBA with honors from USC's Marshall School of Business and an Industrial Engineering degree. He lives in Topanga, California, and when he's not helping agencies see what they've been missing, he's probably on a trail somewhere nearby.
